2023 TOP OF UTAH PARADE OF HOMES

We look forward to a great Parade of Homes in 2023! We are looking to have over 15 beautiful homes so far this year. We are excited to announce that we have changed our Parade name to Top of Utah Parade of Homes. We feel this will better include all of Cache Valley, Bear Lake, and the Tremonton area. Homes completed from March 2022 to early September 2023 will be eligible. Parade dates will be Sep. 14-16 and Sep. 21-23. The application is attached below.  Please let Jocee know if you plan to enter a home.

SPEED NETWORKING EVENT

Builders, subcontractors, and industry professionals, this is the perfect event for you! Our event will be set up like “speed dating” with builders one side and subs rotating through on the other. This event will help you build relationships and find what you are looking for! See more information below. (Lender category is full).

‍CE AND PRE-LICENSURE CLASSES

It is a renewal year! We have several CE options available in April. We have a Successful Remodel 6 hr. course on April 14 and two Quickbooks  3 hr. courses on May 11 and May 17. 3 hours can be in person, while 3 hours can be done online. Remember, one hour must be the energy code requirement.CVHBA members can use code “CVHBA” when registering to get their 6 free credits. (It will recognize your email and should waive the fee).

Anyone needing to take the 25 hr. Pre-licensure course, our next class is April 26-28.

APRIL IS NEW HOMES MONTH

April is New Homes Month; we can share the benefits of new homes to our community. The NAHB has a media toolkit that includes the following:

• Social media images. These eye-catching pictures for your social media channels highlight the benefits of new homes.
• Social media videos. Two short videos are available to share and download. NAHB will customize them with your website address and HBA logo free of charge. Contact Anna Briseño.
• Customizable articles. You can easily add information about new home trends and home buying to your spring parade guides or your website.
• Social media posts. Choose from more than a dozen engaging messages about the benefits of new homes and new home trends to post on your Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter pages.
• Template press release. A press release can position your association as the go-to resource for new homes in your community. Add your HBA contact information and send it to the local press.
